Autorinė Juvelyrika
Naršant internete, tenka dažnai apsilankyti daugybėje internetinių svetainių, susijusių su juvelyrika. Ši veiklos sritis, balansuojanti tarp amato ir meno, šiandien Lietuvoje yra išties ganėtinai iškreiptai suvokiama, nes daugybė žmonių juvelyriką maišo tiesiog su akmenėlių varstymu, ko, po velnių, daryti išties nederėtų. Juvelyrika tikrai nėra pramoniniu būdu pagamintų ir iš kinijos atvežtų detalių montavimas, konstravimas, varstymas ir klijavimas. Žodelis klijavimas čia pavartotas visiškai teisingai, nes yra tekę susidurti su keletu darbų/gaminių Lietuvoje, kurių baziniai elementai tiesiog suklijuoti visiems lengvai prieinamais moment klijais.
Asmeniškai pats esu už iniciatyvą kurti, bei saviraišką. Pasirinkimo ir veiksmų laisvė yra suteikta kiekvienam, ir bet kokia kūryba/veikla turėtų būti skatinama, puoselėjama ir globojama. Tuo pačiu, kūryba, bei jos išdava – produktas, meno objektas, turi būti būti objektyviai ir konceptualiai įvertinti, kategorizuoti ir priskirti/pastatyti į tam tikras gretas, pasitelkiant kokybės, profesionalumo, atlikimo, žanro etc. kriterijus bei vertinimo sistemas, tad ir šiuo atveju, kalbant apie metalo apdirbimo meną, derėtų akcentuoti, jog ne visi papuošalai, kurie pristatomi kaip autorinės juvelyrikos darbai, turetų būti būtent šitaip vertinami ir pristatomi. Bene respektabiliausiu autorinės juvelyrikos atstovų sąrašu būtų galima įvardinti meistrų sąrašą, esantį DMOZ archyve.
Metalo darbų priskirimas juvelyrikos menui, o ne kokiai bižuterijos priedermei, iš pradžių turėtų būti atliekamas pasiremiant papuošalų kūrimo technika ir sudėtingumu. Juvelyrikos darbais negali būti vadinami tie papuošalai, kurie yra suverti ant veilučių naudojant akmenėlius ir sidabruotas išbaigtas, atsivežtines detales. Tai labiau prilygsta varstymo/vėrimo Hobiui, tačiau bižuterija to pavadinti taip pat negalima, nes tai nėra absoliučiai masiškai pagamintas produktas/papuošalas, o darbas, sukurtas pasitelkiant rankų darbą, nors ir itin nesudėtingą ir nereikalaujantį ypatingų dizaino, spalvotyros, kompozicijos išmanymo. Tokio tipo papuošalams po truputį spėja prigyti terminas “rankų darbo papuošalai”, sąlygojantis ir įvardijantis daugiau amatišką suvėrimo, sunėrimo, sujungimo veiksmą, o ne autentišką procesą, pagrįsta techniniu ir specializuotu metalo apdirbimo išmanymu, fantazijos bei įkvėpimo samplaika.
